10 years...

Micah and I have been married for 10 years now. So much has changed since we were newly married.

We've managed to both get Master's Degrees...
Pay off our student loans...
Buy two homes...
Conceive three beautiful children...

Survive my insomnia...
Bury our sweet Labrador...

Raise our rambunctious "pound puppy"...

Maintain our home and all it's unexpected improvements...
Upgrade to a family minivan...
and
still enjoy each other's company (most of the time).

There are so many more years to come, filled with good and bad times, I'm sure.

 10 years later:

I will say that I was hoping to celebrate our anniversary on a beautiful sandy beach at an all-inclusive resort. But- having a new baby definitely changes things and we had to postpone our celebratory trip.

I wouldn't change things though. Our children have been the biggest blessing to us (and headache----ironically).

We ended up going to the New Theatre to see HairSpray. This was the place we went for our first date. We had a great time while Aunt Debbie watched our kids! Can't complain about that!

As a gift to us, since we couldn't go anywhere exotic, we bought a bedroom set for our room. It's been ten years after all! I've been working hard painting our bedroom and bathroom and I LOVE it. I can't wait to show you the transformation...once I clear all the clutter.

Five Months

Mr. Samuel Grady is five months old. He's around 17 pounds (give or take a few ounces). Grady is playing in the exersaucer and sits with support. He's so close to rolling from his back to his belly, but hasn't closed the deal yet. He generally sleeps through the night, however, he occasionally rolls on to his back and flails his arms and legs around like a turtle on its shell. I have to go in at night sometimes and help him roll back over.

More than ever, he's our happy little guy.

To say that we adore this boy is a bit of an understatement. Seriously...the entire family is SMITTEN over this baby. He's so used to kisses and hugs, he doesn't even protest. Even Addie and Eliza cannot get enough of him!
