We're Baaaack!

We just returned from NC this morning around 4:30 am. Addison is sick AGAIN, so the ride home was a bit rougher than the trip out. She cried about every 4 hours but once we got some medicine in her she would go back to sleep. Overall, she traveled very well, especially since it took 18+ hours to get home. We're trying to get caught up on sleep today...but she's not really doing a great job of it. It seems that her one year molars are coming in. She doesn't even have any teeth on top-it doesn't make sense! Needless to say, she's VERY opinionated about her situation.

Here are some more pics of our trip:

We visited a plantation built in the early 1800s. "Miss Independent" like to take off and doesn't even look back!!!

It's really hard to get her to look at the camera b/c she doesn't stand still very long. This is the best shot I could get.

Caleb got to pet a 12 day old lamb as it was nursing off the ewe.

We went to one of Caleb's play groups on Tuesday. Addison didn't make it through story time, but she did a good job of cleaning up at the end. She's really into helping put things up (for now).

At the park one evening

Her climbing is a bit out of control right now. I'm concerned that she might try to climb our bookcases and pull them on top of her. She climbs everything and has absolutely no fear. I'm not concerned about her falling of the bed, couch, or stairs so much b/c she seems to have them down, but she waves caution out the window when she decides to climb.

I'm certain she is what some would consider "strong-willed". She's definately not into cuddling and loving on anyone. She doesn't want to hold anyone's hand and she'll push you away when you try to stop her from doing something she wants to do. She also refuses to "perform" any of her new tricks she's learned. She'll do them for about one day and then you won't see them for a while...I'm not sure why...but I'm sure she does. Right now, she's looking at books and pointing to things. She's babbling about what she sees. It's so cute. I think I'll have to go kiss and hug her and watch her get irritated. :)

Reilly didn't get his bottom teeth until after he got ALL his top ones. These kids didn't read the text book that says they bottom middle first, then top middle, and so on and so fort!! They like to make up their own rules as they go.
